Design architecture
Inspired by beauty in nature and music and grounded in technicality, Heartstrings design
architecture is where the idea becomes the technical concept and the technical concept
decrescendos to make room for beauty.
With a creative vision, clear understanding of her material limits, and steady hand, Michelle
Dall’Acqua transforms a design sketch into a concrete vision for how she will integrate precious
metals with instrument strings and embellishments to handcraft an artful Heartstrings creation.
Fabrication
Fabrication is Michelle’s path of creation for each piece of Heartstrings Jewelry. With every
piece undergoing a unique journey from string selection and preparation to constructing each
unique element to assembly, Michelle ensures the final product showcases harmonious design
and creation. Using in-house and proprietary techniques and processes, Michelle gives every
Heartstrings piece and client, the gift of longevity, beauty, and eco-conscious living.
Finishing
Finishing is Michelle’s commitment to crafting breathtaking colour and contrast, ergonomic and
easy-to-wear comfort, and strong, lasting jewelry. It is a process of meticulously completing the
final structure, securing each embellishment, and polishing and bringing to life every element of
the piece. It is a promise to uphold the same inspired, careful quality in every finished piece.
Sustainability
Encompassing Michelle’s craftsmanship and Heartstrings operations are eco-conscious living,
sustainability, and climate action. Heartstrings Jewelry repurposes and transforms end-of-life
instrument strings, is produced using solar energy, and is packaged and delivered in
eco-friendly materials.
